Je suis muséologue: expert en management de projets internationaux, et en élaboration de politiques pour le patrimoine et les musées. J’ai travaillé en Egypte, au Soudan, en Libye, Ethiopie et désormais sur le projet du Louvre Abu Dhabi. Ancien chercheur associé à l’EHESS (Paris), j’ai aussi une activité de recherche dans le domaine des Museum Studies.

Ce blog présente mes activités de recherche, ma “production” (conférences, articles, publication et nouvelles). J’écris – au long court – une thèse d’histoire contemporaine dont le titre (provisoire) est “Economie culturelle d’Egypte et du Soudan: mondialisation des politiques du patrimoine et musées, 1952-2011” (EHESS, Paris sous la direction de François Pouillon).

I am a museologist: expert in  international projects management and Museums policies. I worked in the Middle East and Africa: Egypt, Sudan, Libya, Lebanon, Ethiopia, I currently work on the Louvre Abu Dhabi project. Former associate researcher at the EHESS (Paris), I keep having a research activity in Museum Studies.

  • August 2010-February 2011 – Center for Digital Conservation of National Archives (Tripoli, Libya)

Position: Head of the project initiated in June 2010.
Missions:

– Creation of the Digital Center – infrastructures, equipment;

– Physical and digital conservation of ancient photographs;

– Management and training a team composed of Libyans and international consultant;

– Creation of a database in 3 languages (Arabic, English, French).
